This means the online casino provider has seured the next stage of its expansion into the European market.
The first batch of Hacksaw’s slot games will consist of 20 titles, including Wanted Deal or a Wild, Chaos Crew and Stack’ Em. They are due to be released in mid-December.
Marcus Cordes, COO of Hacksaw Gaming, said: “It’s fantastic to be ending the year on such a high; Spain has been on our radar for a while and it’s great to obtain approval to go live in another one of Europe’s regulated markets.
"2021 has been a year of milestones and we are sure 2022 is going to continue this trend. We look forward to players enjoying the first batch of our games while we plan to release more content during Q1 next year.”
The supplier has recently expanded its footprint into the Swedish market after it signed a partnership with Svenska Spel Sports and Casino. That deal was made possible by another partnership with the OpenGaming platform.
Prior to the Swedish expansion, Hacksaw announced it has received the necessary certification and went live in Denmark.
Back in September 2021, the company signed a deal with Flutter Entertainment’s Paddy Power Betfair, which had Hacksaw Gaming strengthen its position in the UK.
The provider’s games are already certified across several other European regions, including Sweden and Latvia.
