In her capacity as CBO, Evripidou will lead the provider’s global expansion plans, oversee its banking operations and attempt to establish strategic partnerships with key financial players around the world.
She has been tasked with delivering broad-spectrum business growth while fostering a strong risk management and compliance culture. Evripidou will report directly to Xace CEO David Hodkinson.
“I am thrilled to welcome Andria to the team. Andria brings a wealth of experience to the table ranging from global fintech expansion to regulation and banking operations,” remarked Hodkinson.
“She has a strong track-record in scaling up businesses in a regulated environment and I look forward to leveraging her expertise.
“I am immensely proud of this year’s exceptional senior appointments to the company. As we continue to strengthen our existing governance and global presence, we’ve hired some of the most talented professionals in the sector with many years of experience, delivering world-class business practices.”
Evripidou joins Xace from Yapily, a European open banking start-up, where she led its public policy and compliance function. She began her career as an economic consultant, and since then, has worked for the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and served as a senior manager at Revolut.
Commenting on her appointment at Xace, Evripidou said: “I have been so impressed with Xace’s phenomenal journey so far. I am so excited to be joining a dynamic company like this who are prepared to transform the future of finance for businesses.
“It is an honour and a privilege to be asked to join Xace at this exciting point in time and I look forward to driving the adoption of our solutions to business around the world.”
