2022 ICE London postponed

ICE London, one of gaming’s biggest industry events, has been postponed until further notice.

CovidDelay

The event’s organiser Clarion Gaming announced that it will delay the February 2022 trade show due to Covid-related concerns, and will publish further details on Wednesday 22 December.

Rumours had previously circulated that ICE could be postponed until the spring of 2022, and today’s announcement lends further credence to this suspicion. With cases of the Omicron variant rising, fears of a return to lockdown-style restrictions have mounted.

2021’s in-person event was cancelled after two delays due to Covid-19, and now it appears that next year’s show will also experience a postponement.

Prior to its latest announcement, Clarion Gaming Group MD Alex Pratt told Gambling Insider: “We will always do what is right for the industry and deliver the event our customers want including both the operators and suppliers,” and added that Clarion was “monitoring the situation 24/7”.
