Allen Media Group launches free, sports-focused streaming service

Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios, also know as Allen Media Group, has launched a new free-streaming network that is set to feature sports betting.

StreamingTV

The American media mogul has officially debuted his latest venture, Sports.tv; a streaming app that aggregates sports, news, movies, documentaries and entertainment networks, as well as local broadcast TV stations.

And throughout 2022, more content is expected to arrive on Sports.tv, such as regional sports networks, pay-per-view, ticket sales, merchandise sales and, crucially, sports betting.

“After many years, we have successfully combined the world’s two favourite words — sports and free,” remarked Allen.

“Advertisers spend more than $50bn per year to reach this highly-coveted sports demographic, and I’m happy to announce that Sports.tv has already received enormous ad support.”

The app’s line-up currently features more than 60 channels, including World Poker Tour, SportsGrid and Racing America.

It is available across various digital platforms, including Apple, Android, Fire TV and Android TV. Sports.tv is also available from a browser and, according to Allen Media Group, will soon come to Roku TV and Apple TV.

“Providing a simple, intuitive, multi–screen experience, Sports.tv is now available and streams seamlessly across many popular digital platforms,” stated Allen Media Group.

Allen added: “Sports.tv is an innovative free-streaming service connecting sports fans to their favourite sports content, giving our subscribers complete access to all of their favourite teams and players on every device, 24/7, for free.”

Founded in 1993, Allen Media Group is headquartered in Los Angeles and owns 36 broadcast television stations in 21 US markets and 12 24-hour HD television networks serving nearly 180 million subscribers.
