The interactive gaming and sports betting technology company, operating out of Italy, has applied for a Transactional Waiver. Once approved, this will allow Elys to begin operations within the state of New Jersey.
Mike Ciavarella, Elys Executive Chairman, said: “We are continuing to put full measures in place towards our launch with Ocean Casino Resort located in the heart of Atlantic City, and submission of our platform for certification to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is a key milestone in achieving this objective.
“Our anticipated entry into New Jersey builds on our multi-pronged revenue strategy of expansion into the traditional casino business, development of the small business sportsbook market, and growth of the mobile iGaming market.”
The approval process has been made through Elys’ wholly owned subsidiary, US Bookmaking, and its partnership with Atlantic City venue, Ocean Casino Resort.
Elys’ primary focus is on gaming technology in the B2B market, though it also offers customer-facing online and land-based operations in Italy.
The company produces a range of gaming products and services, such as sports betting, esports, virtual gambling, poker, bingo and slots. It currently has operations in five US states.
The technology supplier recently announced a partnership with Lottomatica, an Italian firm specialising in online gaming. The deal commits Elys to designing, developing and servicing a customised sportsbook platform for Lottomatica in North America.
