The platform offers an open-to-all environment that allows developers to create applications for slot machines or table games using Acres’ Foundation casino management system technology. The store itself enables operators to easily add the latest content from developers through an open API.
Thanks to the open API, casinos only pay for the cost of the application. At present, casinos have to also purchase the interface for each application required. Through the Foundation App Store, Acres allows the inclusion of any app, even those competing with current or future Acres applications.
At its launch, the Foundation App Store includes 17 developers with tested and certified applications. Categories included are those such as reporting, analytics, cashless gaming and bonusing.
Acres provides standard APIs to developers who want to create an application for the Foundation. All applications are tested and certified prior to being listed as available, with developers dictating their own pricing outlook.
