The partnership will begin in the second quarter of 2022 with the launch of two new media websites and respective apps. The first of the sites will have a focus on global horse and greyhound racing, with the second set to cover seven different sports in localised languages.
“Choosing to work with Spotlight Sports Group, Sky City can now benefit from its unique ability to deliver turnkey technology, powered by proprietary data sets, AI and smart content modules,” a statement from SSG read.
“SSG is selected to build and manage specialist platforms for Sky City’s digital audiences,” the company added.
The partnership will allow the supplier to deploy multi-lingual media platforms, in order to engage its audience with localised and in-depth sports content.
Last year, SSG expanded its global proposition by launching a joint venture with Diario AS (AS.com), delivering an affiliate responsive website with native Spanish language betting content.
“Our leading blend of technology, media expertise and expert content in over 70 localised languages means we are in a unique position to instantly scale any publisher's sports content offering,” said Spotlight Sports Group CCO Sam Houlding.
“Strategically this is a significant B2B media partnership for us and broadens our global reach, with this agreement in Asia following our recent expansion to service Spanish speaking markets with our AS.com partnership and our continued growth in North America.”
