Caesars Entertainment brings sportsbook to Washington State

Washington’s sports betting market has grown once again as Caesars Entertainment brings its sportsbook to the Evergreen State.

After securing a sports wagering licence, the company has partnered with Muckleshoot Casino, Spokane Tribe Casino and its sister property, Chewelah Casino — ahead of this year’s Big Game.

Caesars will debut in-person sports betting at these three tribal-owned and operated properties, bringing its Caesars Sportsbook product to customers in both eastern and western Washington.

However, the Las Vegas-based business said its plans for each property differ, ranging from a full Caesars Sportsbook location to self-service betting kiosks.

For example, its offering at Muckleshoot Casino, the Pacific Northwest’s largest gaming facility, will feature four live betting windows and nine self-service kiosks, with plans to offer bettors on-site digital wagering via its Caesars Sportsbook app.

Spokane Tribe Casino will also open a full location within the property, but customers at Chewelah Casino will be limited to wagering at self-service kiosks.

“Partnering with three tremendous casinos for our expansion into Washington State is a big moment for Caesars Sportsbook,” said Eric Hession, Co-President of Caesars Digital.

“We’re thrilled to offer Washington sports bettors a chance to get in on the action in time for Super Bowl LVI and we can’t wait to see how fans from Seattle-Tacoma to Spokane enjoy the thrill of betting on their favourite teams and events.”

While sports betting in Washington State is only legal at tribal casinos, that hasn’t stopped various operators from getting in on the action.

Most recently, FanDuel partnered with the Suquamish Tribe to launch its sportsbook at Clearwater Casino.
