Betano has signed an agreement with Bulgarian football club, FC Lokomotiv Sofia, to become its official partner for the next three years.
The online gambling operator, a subsidiary of Kaizen Gaming, will see its logo printed across the football club’s playing jersey, as well as across other assets owned by the club known as the Railwaymen.
The branding was visible for the first time on Sunday 13 February, when Lokomotiv Sofia, currently 11th in Bulgaria’s First League, drew 1-1 against CSKA Sofia, currently occupying second position.
Tsvetin Yordanov, Country Manager for Bulgaria, Kaizen Gaming, commented: “I am delighted to announce our partnership with Lokomotiv Sofia, a historic football club and an incredible team. We are thrilled that the Betano logo will from now on be featured on the Railwaymen's jerseys, and we look forward to celebrating wins and undertaking joint social initiatives together.
“This sponsorship clearly highlights our strong commitment to the Bulgarian market and our support for Bulgarian sports and society.”
The agreement coincides with Kaizen Gaming’s official launch in Bulgaria, the eighth country where its operations are present. The company operates in seven additional countries, across Europe and South America, through its Betano and Stoiximan brands.
