Golden Lion casino group installs Zitro’s Glare gaming cabinets in Mexico

Golden Lion Entertainment Group has installed 200 of Zitro Digital’s Glare gaming cabinets at its venues across Mexico, adding to the 1,000 Zitro machines already in operation at its casinos.

Zitro, a casino content supplier of bingo and slots titles, as well as a manufacturer and developer of the gaming cabinets themselves, has been expanding its presence in the LatAm marketplace over the past few months.

In February, the B2B supplier partnered with PlayCity Casinos to supply its Glare family of gaming cabinets to venues across Mexico.

This latest agreement sees Golden Lion, which owns casino brands including Twin Lions, Golden Lion, Revolución, Rio and Golden City, introduce Zitro’s Glare cabinets to its customers.

The Altius Glare, Zitro’s flagship gaming cabinet, features a 4K, 55-inch touchscreen with LED lighting. The cabinet also includes mobile phone charging capabilities and added comfort for players.

Johnny Ortiz Viveiros, Founder, Zitro, commented: “Thanks to the talented Zitro team that designed these stunning 4K visuals, this spectacular multi-game offers the best graphics currently available in the market.

“We are confident that this completely new gaming experience will continue to gain popularity and become one of the preferred jackpot systems in many markets. We are confident Megashare Lounge will also be an added value for Golden Lion, a gaming and entertainment benchmark in Mexico.”

In addition to the Glare gaming cabinets, Zitro has also made its most popular title, Wheel of Legends, available to Golden Lion customers. The fantasy-themed title, known as a progressive multigame, allows a central jackpot to build from any of the four games included. The title also features bonus spins and free-to-play levels.

Golden Lion’s customers can also interact with Zitro’s Megashare Lounge, a multiplayer product where the total prize pool is shared by all players when one hits the jackpot.

In addition to Mexico, Zitro has also worked to secure deals with companies in Colombia and Argentina in recent months.
