As Head of Live Casino, Stakelogic is looking to leverage Walker’s experience to support the development of dedicated and network studio tables spanning multiple markets.
Working alongside Head of Studios, Anthony Sammut, and Head of Operations, Sanita Gabriel, Walker will oversee the roll out of Stakelogic Live as the provider’s roster of operating partners grows.
The company said there is a significant focus on the Netherlands, where Stakelogic claims it “has gained significant traction since the market opened its doors to legal, regulated online gambling.”
“I’m delighted to have joined a company with significant desire to grow and disrupt the live casino vertical. Stakelogic Live may be the new kid on the block but we are aiming to be amongst the best in the business,” remarked Walker.
“There is a fantastic team already in place here and it was an easy decision to join Stakelogic Live to continue the excellent progression already made along with driving the business forward and into the future.”
With more than 25 years of industry experience, including time spent in the live casino sector, Walker may be the right man for this job.
He has held various positions at different gaming companies, including Rank Group, where he served as Head of Live Casino for four years.
Prior to this, Walker was Evolution Gaming’s Deputy Head of Operations Malta, and before that, its Head of International Department.
Stephan van den Oetelaar, Stakelogic CEO, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Richard to the team and for Stakelogic Live to benefit from his unrivalled experience and knowledge.
“Stakelogic Live has achieved a great deal in a short space of time but under Richard’s leadership we will undoubtedly be able to hit our goal of becoming the number one provider of live casino content in markets across Europe and beyond.”
