In her new role, which will be based in Hammersmith, London, Delahunty will be responsible for the corporate, financial, digital and sustainability umbrella of company communications.

Part of her role will involve communicating financial results to the City, as well as shareholders, announcing high-profile executive appointments, in addition to the latest company news surrounding environmental and humanitarian updates.

She will report into Jonathan Hill, who has served as Chief Financial Officer since May 2019.

Delahunty commented: “Following a period of significant growth, Flutter operates some of the world’s most popular, innovative sports betting and gaming brands.

“I’m excited to join the talented team at Flutter and look forward to working with colleagues around the world to continue leading the way in player protection, driving positive industry change and delivering the next phase of Flutter’s growth story.”

In her previous role, having served as Global Brand and Corporate Affairs Director at Lloyds Register, she was responsible for advancing the company’s reputation while supporting its business strategy.

She has also served as Senior Corporate and Digital Communications Consultant at Vodafone, as well as SVP Corporate Communications at DP World.

Her previous roles have been based in London, New York and the Middle East.

Jonathan Hill, CFO, Flutter, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kate to the Flutter team as we continue to grow by exploring new markets and opportunities to entertain our customers in a safe, responsible and sustainable way.

“She is a highly experienced professional, with an impressive track record in brand and reputation management for global businesses to help achieve their strategic objectives.”
