Alongside a number of other gaming firms, such as theScore and High 5, BetRivers is now able to offer its services to anyone aged 19 and over.
Both the BetRivers website and mobile apps can now accept wagers in Ontario.
Richard Schwartz, CEO, RSI, commented: “We are thrilled to bring millions of Canadian gaming enthusiasts into the expanding BetRivers community, and to deliver the same best-in-class products and trusted services our players elsewhere in the Americas have come to expect and appreciate.
“By always putting the player experience first and focusing on earning and retaining player trust, be it through our array of proprietary betting options, fast and easy payouts, or efficient and helpful customer support, we are confident BetRivers will become Ontario’s preferred online casino and sports betting destination.”
To lead its Canadian operations, RSI appointed Bruce Caughill as Managing Director on 30 March.
On his appointment and the launch of the Ontario market, he said: “I look forward to building on our reputation, and working with iGaming Ontario and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in this burgeoning online gaming market.
“I am especially excited to support a talented team of fellow Ontarians, as we aim to operate the best platform and service available in the province.”
Furthermore, RSI has appointed sports broadcaster, Dan O’Toole, to lead its promotional campaign. He hosts the Boomsies! weekly podcast, and was recently featured in a series of television adverts in Canada.
