Wachtmeister, who received her previous internal promotion in 2019, has also been a member of the Kambi Board.
In a career stretching over 30 years, Wachtmeister has undertaken a number of roles in sales, strategy and account management functions.
She is promoted from EVP Business and Group Functions, her first executive role at the company.
Prior to joining the B2B gambling technology supplier, Wachtmeister spent 25 years at Ericsson where she became Vice President of Group Sourcing.
As part of her new role, Wachtmeister will lead a commercial team responsible for growing the financial footprint of the company, exploring new profit-generating projects and capitalising on market expansions.
She commented: “With a market-leading product and partner-first focus, it’s no surprise Kambi has enjoyed great success in recent years. Even though we are on a steep growth trajectory, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s possible. This is why I’m looking forward to working with my talented commercial team to ensure Kambi can capitalise on the many exciting opportunities the future will bring.
“It has already been a busy start to the year with the signings of MaximBet and NorthStar Gaming, and I'm confident we have the right team and product in place to build on this success in 2022 and beyond.”
Kambi also took the time to announce the promotions of three other members of the commercial team, now reporting into Wachtmeister.
Sarah Robertson, Jamie McKittrick and Veena Dhesi have been appointed as SVP Sales, SVP Commercial Operations and SVP Partner Success, respectively.
