The gambling content and technology supplier, which also develops sportsbooks, lottery services and turnkey platforms, has made its suite of online slots content available to Betclic. Oryx develops content through a number of in-house gaming studios, as well as acquiring content from third-party publishers.
In total, Oryx manages a portfolio of over 10,000 games and licences them out to operators, such as 888 Holdings, Interlaken, Novibet and Microgame.
Chris Looney, CCO, Bragg Gaming, commented: “As we’ve demonstrated with our recent launches in several new markets, our strategy of partnering with top-tier iGaming operators has led to very promising initial success. We expect that partnering with Betclic for our initial foray into the Portuguese market will drive similar success.
“We see great potential in the Portuguese market where online slot play is performing at a high level and continues to grow. Our content will be a great addition to online casino lobbies and will provide a fun experience to local players.”
Portugal is seen as a growing marketplace in the gambling industry, with the country’s online casino expected to attract $307m worth of wagers in 2022.
Geoffroy Villiot, Head of Casino, Betclic, said: “As a leading operator in the market, we are working hard to ensure our customers have the best games available and Oryx offers an abundance of titles to significantly enhance our existing portfolio of content.”
Oryx has recently launched its services in Czech Republic with Synot Group, the Bahamas with Island Luck, Ontario and Spain with 888casino, Italy with Microgame and several LatAm territories with FBMDS.
