ts data suppliers Betradar and Don Best Sports have agreed an odds monitoring partnership.
The deal will see the firms come together to launch the Betradar American Odds Monitoring Service, an extension of the existing Betradar monitoring service, into the US sports marketplace.
Based on data provided by Don Best, the first version of the service will offer coverage of professional and college American Football, Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey matches played in the US and Canada
The product includes a number of unique Betradar features including ‘expected total points’ and ‘supremacy values’, as well as a customisable alert system based around bookmakers’ odds.
Carsten Koerl, group chief executive officer of Sportradar, the parent company of Betradar, said: “It has been widely noted that the overall interest in traditional American sports has been steadily growing year on year, allowing European bookmakers the opportunity to tap into revenue streams that are outside their local time zones.”
Don Best Sports president Benjie Cherniak added: “Given Betradar’s vast distribution capabilities within the European sports market, the partnership will enable us to better meet the growing need for reliable and consistent information relevant to North American sporting events.”
