Blexr acquires New Zealand-based casino review site
Blexr has bought the New Zealand-based website CasinoReviews.net.nz in a bid to expand its portfolio.
The site provides reviews for online casinos that accept players from New Zealand, giving prospective players options for a selection of online sites.
Although based in Malta, Blexr has stated its intention to make CasinoReviews.net.nz the most comprehensive casino resource available to Kiwi site visitors.
Blexr has acquired the site for a seven-figure sum, an amount the company feels highlights its commitment to enhancing the scope and capabilities the casino review site can offer.
Head of Marketing at Blexr, Koen Bongers, has spoken on the acquisition.
He said: “We believe this acquisition will blend very well into our existing product portfolio while increasing our presence in our target markets.
“New Zealand has a high interest in slot machines – called ‘pokies’ locally – and our bespoke free casino games technology allows us to create a highly localised offering in the market that will stand out from the competition.
“We have big plans for this website and are excited to see how it will grow in the coming months.”
Blexr already owns casino review sites for markets in Germany, Italy and Portugal. The company also develops several sports betting sites, with coverage of over 50 sports worldwide.
The company has recently donated €15,000 ($16,000) to the Red Cross’ Ukrainian Relief Fund, in support of the humanitarian efforts to help those displaced by war.
