The Coachella-based casino will act as the exclusive affiliate of the Acrisure Arena, a new concert and sports venue in Coachella Valley.
Spotlight 29 will receive extensive branding integration at the arena, including permanent interior and exterior signage, as well as LED ring exposure and in-game promotions.
What’s more, Spotlight 29 joins with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, which will use the Acrisure Arena as its home, before its debut as the 32nd AHL team in Autumn 2022.
The Acrisure Arena will also name its VIP seating locations after its partnership with Spotlight 29, calling it The Chairman’s Club 29.
Oak View Group, the multimedia rights holder for the Acrisure Arena, will also receive numerous advertising and marketing benefits in The Spotlight 29 and Tortoise Rock (owned by Spotlight) casinos, including promotions, discounts, rewards and merchandise offers.
The Chairman of Spotlight 29, Darrell Mike, commented: "We look forward to working with the leadership and teams at Acrisure Arena, and the Oak View Group in establishing the arena as a focal point for our community.
“The development of this world-class venue represents the continued growth in the Coachella Valley and will bring with it great opportunities for those living and working in the region."
Tim Leiweke, the CEO of Oak View Group, added: "We all share the same vision to build a strong region, and we're honored to be working with them during such an important time of the growth in the Valley that will bring our teams and communities together to celebrate sport and entertainment."
The Acrisure Arena is due to open in time for the 2022-23 AHL season and, alongside being the home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the venue will be used to host more than 150 sports and live entertainment events annually.
