Tice is, according to Ignition, a rising star in the poker industry. He joins Ignition’s team to live stream online poker events and support the company’s video content marketing efforts.
The poker player is also expected to represent Ignition at a variety of online events in North America, including several poker festivals this summer.
The 23-year-old Tice has, supposedly, built a poker image by achieving impressive results from a range of cash games and online tournaments. He is also an instructor for the Solve for Why Academy, a poker training company.
Ignition Casino will employ Tice to promote both low and high-stakes online games, including prize pool multi-table tournaments and quick jackpot games.
It’s yet unclear what Tice’s role will be for Ignition’s special events, which includes The Monthly Milly, a single event worth a guaranteed $1m.
Other big-money tournament series at Ignition include the Black Diamond Poker Open, the Golden Spade Poker Open and the Super Millions Poker Open.
On his appointment, Tice said: “I’m thrilled to work with Ignition Casino to amplify the awareness of its already extensive online poker offering and to help build the brand’s exposure throughout the US.
“I’ve played on Ignition Casino since the start of my online poker career. The company does a great job keeping the player experience top of mind while providing a safe and reliable platform for online players to chase their poker dream.”
