In a statement released regarding the appointment, Rootz highlighted Brown’s extensive experience in a range of roles, detailing his 15 years working in both B2B and B2C positions, as well as his proven track record of refreshing and reinvigorating various iGaming organisations.
The statement went on to outline the company’s plans to make use of Brown’s experience in support of the Rootz global growth and development objectives.
Rootz hopes this new appointment will give Melanie Hainzer, the current CMO, more freedom to focus on the company’s expansionist aims.
Rootz is seeking to obtain licences in a range of jurisdictions. It hopes to be operating in Germany in the very near future, and went on to say it expects to receive licences for operation in Netherlands and Ontario by Q4 2022.
Brown said of his new role: "I have maintained a keen eye on Rootz for several years now, and it feels great that I no longer need to admire from afar. I’m really excited about the new challenge, and looking forward to working with a high-performance team."
After achieving success with a string of popular online casino brands, Rootz recently launched its fourth service, the streaming site Spinz Casino.
In a statement, the company described Spinz Casino as “an industry-first concept” that would offer live streaming on a dedicated platform.
