With this done, 888 will now work to integrate both William Hill and Mr Green into its brand portfolio. As part of this process, the group has announced an executive reshuffle.
This was foreshadowed by the departure of William Hill CEO Ulrik Bengtsson, which was announced last week. But joining him is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Eric Hageman, who will also leave the company as part of 888’s so-called “organisational changes.”
However, the combined company will retain some faces from William Hill. Mark Skinner will continue to serve as Chief People Officer, a position he was appointed to at William Hill in 2021, having previously held various senior HR roles.
And joining Skinner is Satty Bhens, who has served as Chief Product and Technology Officer for William Hill since 2019. Both will retain their current positions.
The enlarged company will be led by current 888 CEO Itai Pazner, supported by other 888 alumni, including Yariv Dafna as CFO and Guy Cohen as Chief Operating Officer.
Looking forward, 888 intends to report its interim results in August and, to this end, will begin reporting financial results in pounds sterling.
Pazner commented: “I am delighted to announce the completion of our transformational combination with William Hill.
“We have built an outstanding leadership team, combining strengths from across both businesses, and as I look at the future, the combination of our product and content leadership, powered by our proprietary technology and our world-class brands, gives us a powerful platform for growth.
“I’d like to thank Ulrik and Eric for the great job they have done at William Hill, and I wish them well for the future.”
