Montanans can place ticket orders for a range of lottery games, including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America and Big Sky Bonus, among others, on the third-party app.
More importantly, the Treasure State rounds out a dozen US jurisdictions where Jackpocket’s lottery platform is available. Other states include Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon and Texas, plus the nation’s capital, Washington DC.
“Accessibility and convenience are of the utmost importance right now, which is why we’re looking forward to offering Montanans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way of streamlining their day,” said Jackpocket CEO and Founder Peter Sullivan.
In addition to placing orders, players will be able to view an image of their ticket, check lottery results and receive prizes of up to $599 all through the app.
If a player’s winnings exceed $599, the ticket will be transferred to them for redemption at the Montana Lottery. First-time players can also get a free ticket on the app by entering the code BIGSKY at checkout.
Jackpocket also said consumer protections are made available to players, such as deposit and spend limits, self-exclusion and in-app access to responsible gaming resources.
Sullivan concluded: “Innovation and safety are at the forefront of everything we do at Jackpocket, and we’re committed to keeping those guiding principles at the forefront of online gaming.”
