GGPoker launches €25m tournament: Battle of Malta Online
GGPoker’s Battle of Malta Online poker tournament series is now live, with a prize of €25m ($25.4m) on offer.
Running from 10 July to 31 July, the tournament series will feature 18 headline events. ‘Kings Landing Opener €110’ is set to be the tournament’s inaugural headliner, held on 10 July with a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000. The main event will be held on the final day of the series, with a guaranteed pool of €2.5m available to players.
GGPoker Director of Sponsorships and Live Events John Scanlon said: “GGPoker is proud to partner once again with Casino Malta once more to host the ever-popular Battle of Malta Online.
“With loads of mid-stakes poker tournaments to choose from, 18 awesome feature events and at least €25m to be won, we know that players will love this year’s series just as much as in previous years!”
The Battle of Malta Online leaderboard will offer rewards including 25 seat and hotel packages, worth a total of €1,555, and the series will include qualifier tournaments for the October 2022 Battle of Malta Live Event series.
A welcome bonus will be available to new GGPoker players, with more rewards and promotions on offer via the Honeymoon for Newcomers programme. Additionally, regular cash prizes will be up for grabs through GGPoker’s Fish Buffet loyalty system.
