Among other responsibilities, the brand’s latest hire will work to implement its casino strategy, leveraging his more than 25 years in online gambling.
Before joining Betcris, Lebleu worked for multiple iGaming companies in Europe, including a four-year term at William Hill where he served as French Country Manager and Spanish Territory Manager consecutively.
He also worked for Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) as Head of Sales, Europe and LatAm, but was most recently Senior Sales Director for Skywind Group. Lebleu’s latest role will see him return to Costa Rica, where his iGaming career began back in 1997.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity; I’ve known Betcris since I started to work in Costa Rica a quarter of a century ago, and I’m pleased to have reached an agreement with Betcris,” he said.
“In my opinion, it is one of the most respected brands in Latin America, with a retail and online presence in the majority of the LatAm countries.”
Besides executing the brand’s strategy, Lebleu has also been tasked with maintaining the operational integrity of its casino activity. This includes implementing and fine-tuning processes to test game content and core casino app functions.
Lebleu went on to thank Betcris’ leadership team. He added: “I want to thank specifically JD, Fernando Garita, Gabriel Nuñez and Carlos Soto, but also Mauricio Delgado and the HR team who have been extra helpful to get me up to speed.”
