Michigan is the next step in Intress’ plans to expand in the US by launching iGaming portals in all regulated states. The company's entry into Michigan follows the licence it recently received in New Jersey after its launch in 2021.
Intress claims its site is designed to build a safe community of gamblers, and empower gamers to take responsible decisions while providing players with a mix of news, reviews, education and entertainment.
The site will operate exclusively in Michigan as a state-licensed media organisation. Therefore, Intress will only collaborate with operators fully approved by the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
Furthermore, Intress hopes to provide expert industry knowledge, casino reviews, software developers and games to its users in Michigan.
The affiliate hopes to give readers and visitors a chance to connect with casino representatives, giving readers a deeper understanding of Michigan’s gaming space.
Intress Co-Founder Maryna Sokirko said: “Responsible gaming was a key watchword when Michigan chose to license and regulate online gaming; it’s a key driver behind what we do.
“From what we see across multiple US affiliate projects, they seem to lack some advanced user-engaging techniques that we believe will help secure our position among leaders of the emerging but highly competitive US markets.
“While our short-term objective is launching projects in other regulated states, building a true, safe community of gamblers remains our ultimate goal.”
