ria-based 1960Bet and NairaBET have gone live with the products of fellow operator Colossus Bets, including the flagship Pick 7 Colossus.

As a localised Nigerian product, the headline weekly Colossus pool will be presented as the ₦1,000,000,000 Colossus (one billion Nigerian Naira).

1960Bet founder and CEO Dotun Ajegbile described the Colossus product as a "great fit" for the African market.

Akin Alabi, founder and CEO of NairaBET added: “African punters love shooting for a big win from small spend accumulator bets.

"This product fits ideally with our client base across web and mobile and we are pleased to be introducing the Colossus product portfolio to Africa.”

Colossus Bets founder and CEO Bernard Marantelli said: “With partners now live in three continents, soon to be four, betting firms everywhere are realising the massive potential of lottery-sized sports-betting pools, together with the hugely engaging partial cash-out feature which we have developed and patented.”

The Colossus B2C offering launched in 2013 and the firm has since signed over 20 B2B agreements for the distribution of its pools.

It has also been granted a series of patents in relation to partial cash-out.
