This comes afer construction began in March that would see the pool, located on the third floor of Resorts’ Ocean Tower, transformed in a $4m remodel.

After nearly five months, it is now open to guests, who were welcomed back with a ribbon cutting ceremony and group cannon ball.

The new, 45,000-gallon pool features a retractable roof, allowing the space to be used all-year round. This is constructed from 248 panels of glass and is the only one of its kind in Atlantic City.

“The pool will allow for year-round swimming and the indoor/outdoor pool deck will be available year-round for one-of-a-kind events, like cocktail parties and wedding receptions,” stated Resorts.

The pool itself is 50-feet long and 26-feet wide, with a depth of five feet and nine inches at the “deep end” and two feet and nine inches at the “shallow end.” The water has been salt treated and a UV system has been installed to further protect against germs.

In addition to the pool, other new features include a 12-seat, full-service bar and an upgraded fitness centre. Over 100 new loungers have been added in the pool enclosure and out on the sun deck.

The operator said it contracted local trade unions for the renovation. Opening hours are between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm, with only adults allowed after 2:00 pm.

Earlier this week, Resorts reached a new labour agreement with Unite Here Local 54, a trade union representing Atlantic City casino workers.
