Named “Road to Utopia,” Scott’s seven-show residency will kick off on Saturday 17 September. Billed as a “mind-bending, first-of-its-kind” experience, the 31-year-old rapper will perform some of his most well-known hits and possibly even preview upcoming tracks.
Resorts World called Scott “an obvious choice,” while Zouk Group CEO Andrew Li said he was a “seamless fit” for the club’s line-up. “Travis Scott was a seamless fit for the Zouk Nightclub roster,” Li commented.
“His electric performances will pair perfectly with our immersive atmosphere, bringing our guests an unmatched show unlike anything else they can find in Las Vegas. We can’t wait to kick off his residency and continue to amplify our talent line-up.”
Located inside Resorts World Las Vegas, Zouk Nightclub is a 36,000-square-foot space that opened last year. It features floor-to-ceiling LED displays, a 1,011-square-foot dance floor and the ‘Mothership,’ an LED piece.
“From his music and fashion to unprecedented brand collaborations, Travis Scott is a one-of-a-kind, multi-talented artist,” said Ronn Nicolli, Chief Marketing Officer at Resorts World Las Vegas.
“His residency will bring a new level of energy to Resorts World Las Vegas and add to the property's diverse list of entertainment and nightlife offerings.”
This comes after 10 people died in a crowd crush during his performance at the Astroworld Festival in Texas less than one year ago. At the time, Scott was accused of disregarding crowd safety.
