Rob Gatto named Paysafe’s first Chief Revenue Officer

Payments platform Paysafe has confirmed the appointment of Rob Gatto as the company’s first CRO, as the company looks to accelerate international sales.

Gatto will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives across a range of sectors, including gaming, travel and entertainment, as well as the crypto and fintech industries.

The appointment is effective immediately, with Gatto reporting to Paysafe CEO Bruce Lowthers.

Lowthers said: “Rob is an outstanding leader with a proven track record of implementing growth strategies that deliver positive top-line and bottom-line results. 

“His commercial acumen, tech savviness, and deep understanding of both market and customer needs will make him an invaluable member of the team as we transform the business and execute on our growth plan.”

Gatto has extensive industry experience, delivering growth and market function for a range of both public and private companies. He co-founded and served as President of Ureeka, a community designed to help small businesses go to market and generate rapid growth.

Previously, Gatto held senior positions at a number of technology companies, including COO at Tubemogul, SVP of Global Sales at NeuStar and CEO at PointRoll.

In June, Paysafe penned a deal with sports betting platform BetSaracen to enter the Arkansas iGaming market.
