WSOP Online 2022 will be the third edition of the online tournament series, following on from the 53rd annual WSOP on the Las Vegas Strip, where $347.9m in prize money was awarded to 197,626 entrants.

WSOP Online 2022 will feature gold bracelet tournaments on both the WSOP and GGPoker sites, with bracelet winners securing a spot in the 2023 WSOP Tournament of Champions.

Notable WSOP events running throughout the tournament include: $365 No Limit Hold’em Turbo Deepstack on 29 September, $777 Lucky 7’s on 2 October and $1,000 WSOP Online 2022 Championship on 16 October.

WSOP SVP and ED Ty Stewart said: “No one wanted to see this year’s WSOP come to an end. However, in many ways, the return of WSOP Online is even more exciting.

“Together with GGPoker, we have a clear vision to make this festival annually the biggest deal in online poker so that the WSOP offers players the marquee event in both live and online poker each year.”

GGPoker will host the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, otherwise known as the WSOP Online Main Event, for the third year running. The event offers a $20m guaranteed prize pool (GTD).

Additionally, GGPoker will offer 33 bracelet events, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $10,000.

Notable GGPoker events include: $1,111 Every 1 For War Relief on 14 August, $10 GTD Million Dollar Mystery Bounty on 22 August and $3M GTD $400 Colussus on 19 September.

GGPoker Global Ambassador Daniel Negreanu said: “Online bracelets are just as prestigious as live tournament bracelets.

“I’m glad we’re creating a new tradition to celebrate the online game, and I’m striving to add my first WSOP Online bracelet to my collection.”
