Ape In Poker aims to bridge gap between traditional play and Web3

The team behind crypto-focused iGaming brand Ape In Poker has announced a “Poker Room Grand Opening.”

The new platform, it said, represents an effort to bridge the gap between “traditional casino play,” cryptocurrency and Web3 technology.

Essentially, Ape In Poker has attempted to simplify the transition from traditional play to Web3 for the average user.

With this in mind, the company is offering customers multiple purchasing options, including cryptocurrency, credit, debit, Apple and Google Pay.

More advanced crypto and NFT users, meanwhile, will be able to connect their privately owned cryptocurrency wallets directly to the Ape In Poker website.

Project team members will be available to assist less experienced users, it added, offering advice on wallet safety and security, Web3 and crypto basics as well as online poker tutorials.

To celebrate the announcement, Ape In Poker has released a Genesis Players Card NFT. Holders of this token will receive a “reduced amount of rake for every hand won on the site for life.”

David Galan, Web3 Advisor and Strategist, commented: “The hard work, talent and commitment from the team of developers has been incredible and an honour to witness and be a part of.

“From the beginning, the Ape In Poker team wanted to bring a multi-layered NFT project to the poker community to further bridge that Web2 to Web3 gap in a way that is easy to navigate and ultimately, truly valuable to its community and NFT holders.

“They have definitely been able to achieve that and so much more.”
