Sky Racing World offers more dogs to bettors
Sky Racing World has announced a new agreement with Arena Racing Company, which will see its content offering bolstered by including the USA's wagering pools for greyhound racing within the pools it offers in the UK.
The deal now allows UK bettors to place wagers on greyhound racing taking place in the US, while US players will have access to UK wagering pools via Advance-Deposit Wagering (ADW).
David Haslett, CEO of Sky Racing World, commented on the new deal, saying: “We are proud to introduce the simulcast of UK Greyhound racing to the USA and believe the commingling of pools will provide a boost to wagering play which will benefit handicappers and the UK Greyhound Racing Industry.”
The live races will be available to watch on the Sky Racing World App and on the Sky Racing World website with a subscription; however, people will be able to watch past events for free.
Meanwhile, Mark Kingston, Director of Media Technology and Production at ARC, said: “We are delighted to work with Sky Racing World in this new partnership, which will showcase our high-quality Greyhound product to customers in the USA. We will drive a number of benefits to punters in both the USA and UK, including improved liquidity to the pools.”
Sky Racing World’s portfolio has grown in recent years, with the broadcaster also offering live Argentinian horseracing since January – after a deal was struck to mix the international wagering pools – as well as Australian Greyhound racing in the UK.
