Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, FEG noted that Corcoran joined the company on 13 September 2022, taking over from David Vaněk, the group’s General Manager who had served as Interim CEO since March following the departure of Per Widerström.
“Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone for the warm welcome but particularly to David Vaněk for his extensive help getting me up to speed with the business,” said Corcoran.
“I have really enjoyed listening and learning about the FEG business over the last few weeks. I am truly excited about working with you all in such an opportunity-rich environment.”
Currently operating in five European markets - the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Croatia - FEG’s brands include Casa Pariurilor, PSK and Hattrick. The omni-channel betting and gaming operator was founded in the Czech Republic, and is one of the most prominent Central European operators.
Corcoran previously served as Chief Executive of Flutter Entertainment’s Paddy Power online division, leaving the company in July this year. He spent just under four years with the well-known operator, having also spent the past four years as a Director of IFP Investments.
Last month, FEG signed a deal with Pragmatic Play, with the agreement seeing the latter supply its slots portfolio to the former. Through the agreement, FEG’s players in Romania and Croatia will be able to enjoy the supplier’s complete slot portfolio of more than 200 titles, including Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Bonanza and Gates of Olympus.
