Hippodrome confirm online arrangements

new Hippodrome Casino has agreed deals with two online gaming giants.

The first agreement will see PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, refurbish and rebrand the poker deck at the central London venue, creating the UK’s first PokerStars’ poker room.

The casino will also host a range of PokerStars’ sponsored tournaments and special events during 2013, while the online room have also purchased a minority stakeholding in the Hippodrome.

The second deal will see providers Microgaming build the HippodromeCasino.com website – which will be operated by Betway Group – and introduce a suite of games and mobile applications. The site’s online poker product will be supplied by PokerStars.
