Fujitsu partners with Abacus for its Lottery Everywhere service
Abacus has partnered with Fujitsu Frontech North America, providing its Lottery Everywhere service to Fujitsu U-Scan self-service retail customers.
The Abacus Lottery Service brings retailers, lottery and gaming vendors together on its Abacus Fusion Platform.
Abacus says its service removes the need for retailers to create integrations for gaming providers on terminals, simplifying the deployment and engagement process.
In addition, the Abacus Lottery app will become available alongside the Fujitsu U-Scan suite, allowing retailers to offer lottery sales at any checkout.
U-Scan is an update to the hardware and software of self-checkout retail environments, which can be used both on Fujitsu and third-party self-checkout environments.
Abacus CEO Simon Butler said: “The partnership with Fujitsu and their U-Scan software allows us to offer retailers the Abacus managed lottery services simply and effectively, cutting significant effort and time for retailers and allowing them to realise increased sales and a broader, more integrated way of selling lottery to their customers.”
