Since its beginnings with a few roulette tables in restaurants in Sweden, Betsson Group now operates in over 14 countries and has a presence in 20+ markets around the world.
The company was one of the first operators to set up a responsible gambling team within its operations department and has implemented numerous measures for safe gaming. These measures include setting up limits, offering self-exclusion options and providing players with information and resources to help them manage their gaming habits.
Meanwhile, a new Latin American operations centre for Betsson Group was recently opened in Bogota, Colombia. The opening was inaugurated with an event attended by media and private and public sector entities, including Fecoljuegos, the Colombian Federation of Entrepreneurs of Games of Luck and Chance.
In comparison to last year, Betsson experienced organic growth of 35% in the third quarter of 2022. The markets in Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia contributed partially to this increase.
Betsson has prepared a strategy based on geographic expansion and diversification for Latin America.
