The supplier, which provides North America's most comprehensive end-to-end platform, has acquired regulatory approval for its full-service solution, which is currently available in 12 states and will shortly be available in two more.

Some of the sportsbook company's strongest go-live numbers have been recorded in just three weeks of operation in the Buckeye State – this landmark deal represents a significant milestone for Amelco.

Over 11 million transactions were registered over the New Year's weekend throughout the state, with Cincinnati accounting for 1.9 million and Columbus for slightly over a million.

More transactions took place in Ohio over the weekend than in New York during the same 48-hour timeframe.

There are currently 16 sportsbooks operating in Buckeye State, in partnership with its sports teams. This includes the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Bengals.

Clients in both Maryland and Massachusetts will also be added to the provider’s profile shortly, too.

Commenting on its Ohio launch, Amelco's Head of USA, Brandon Walker, said: “This is another major stepping stone in Amelco’s extensive plans for expansion in the US, and we look forward to bringing our offering to an increased audience of sports bettors.”

Meanwhile, in May 2022, Amelco went live in Arkansas with Saracen Casino in a move that strengthens the Natural State’s newly established online sports betting market.

Per the agreement, Saracen Casino now has access to Amelco’s end-to-end sports betting solution.
