He will be taking over from Michael Pace, who founded Pace-O-Matic in 2000. Pace has been in the industry of money-operated video games for over 50 years. He debuted the world's first counter-top bar game in 1980, Little Casino, which went on to become a best-seller.

Goldean said: “Under Founder and Company Chairman Michael Pace, Pace-O-Matic is a company that has experienced unmatched growth. Michael has developed the most beloved, popular and profitable entertainment games in our nation’s history.

"I am honoured to serve in this expanded role as we work to build upon the strong foundation that Michael has spent a career building.”

Goldean has served at Pace-O-Matic for just over four years, holding positions as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) before becoming the President and CEO. However, he has served as a CEO and owner for other companies previous to Pace-O-Matic.

Pace, Chairman of the company, said: “Our company’s success and rapid growth are due to Paul’s strategic leadership and management.

"He has assembled and led our team to firmly cement Pace-O-Matic’s status as the industry leader in skill game software development, distribution, and sales. By expanding Paul’s role, I am confident that our company’s future will be even brighter.”

Pace-O-Matic is a developer of legally compliant games of skill and strategy. Its products include both countertop video games and cabinet machines, that can reward players with various cash rewards.
