Two Entain non-executive directors resign

With this, Entain’s board members have reduced to nine from eleven.

Barry Gibson, Chairman of Entain, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Mark and Vicky for the important contributions both have made to Entain and wish them well for the future."

The duo joined the company as non-executive directors in 2021.

On the same day in 2021 that Stella David was also appointed as a senior independent director following her appointment to the Remuneration, ESG, and Nomination Committees, Vicky Jarman joined the Ladbrokes and Coral operator's board as an independent non-executive director.

Meanwhile, Peter Isola resigned from the Entain Board of Directors in March 2022. He worked as a non-executive director for a very long time.

He opted to leave "to focus on other opportunities," the company claims, bringing down the number of board members from 11 to 10.

Isola joined the board in February 2016 and over the course of his six-year term as a Non-Executive Director, served on the company's Audit, Compensation, and ESG Committees and helped lead Entain through different business expansions.

The Gibraltar-based lawyer, a senior partner at Isolas LLP, built a reputation as a leading figure in the fields of finance and online gaming law throughout the course of his career.
