The new licence allows BetConstruct to offer its products to operators in Denmark, including its online casino games, sports betting and live casino services.

The move only expands its European presence, which grew recently when the Malta Gaming Authority approved BetConstruct’s application to start accepting cryptocurrencies from players in the Maltese market.

The supplier's white-label partners, including Vbet.net (which operates under Vivaro Limited), allow their players to deposit using cryptocurrencies. This, in turn, allows them to target crypto-specific players.

Elsewhere in the Danish market, Soft2Bet’s Betinia brand also recently launched in the country, giving Danish players access to Betinia’s casino library of around 2,100 games from 41 providers.

Soft2Bet Head of Country Teams Peter Christian Noer said: “We are very pleased to continue expanding our footprint in the European market as the entrance of our brand, Betinia in the Danish market further develops our presence in the rapidly developing Nordic region.

“We now operate the Betinia brand in both the Danish and Swedish markets under local licences with technology adapted to the specific regulatory requirements and designed to provide an engaging yet safe gaming experience for our users.”

Furthermore, 1X2 Network expanded its position in the Danish market through a partnership with Entain, in a deal that will see content from 1X2 Network’s 1X2gaming and Iron Dog Studio subsidiaries become available in the lobbies of PartyCasino and Bwin. It includes slots such as Wolf Strike and Smoking Hot Fruits.
