Over 850 hotel rooms for a new age of premium hospitality have been finished as part of Marina Bay Sands' $1bn redevelopment initiative this week.

The ultra-luxury suites will be the centrepiece of the upcoming remodelling phase. With the hotel renovation, there will be more suites in the two towers – from 137 to about 422.

The renovation will continue into Tower 3, the Hotel Lobby and Sands SkyPark. Towers 1 and 2 are expected to be transformed by the end of 2023.

Paul Town, Marina Bay Sands COO, said: "This extensive design transformation of our iconic Hotel is a leap forward in our commitment to set new benchmarks for ourselves and the industry.

“Over the next few years, guests will witness luxury at every corner of our property. We are very excited about what lies ahead as we transform to meet the evolving and elevated expectations of our guests."

The suite of the integrated resort will also include a modernised Executive Club lounge, luxurious fine dining facilities and health and wellness services.

The resort has partnered with 10 hotels so far. Through the partnership, Marina Bay Sands and the respective partner hotels can capitalise on one another's advantages and resources to provide an extended offering to global event planners.

Further, the visitor experience at Marina Bay Sands is also being revamped through several festivals that aim to entertain and deepen interaction with guests through thematic, immersive activities.
