Betr Holdings has announced the launch of its real-money gaming product in Massachusetts, its second real-money state.
The Betr app is accessible on both the iOS and Android app stores, and over the next several months, it plans on rolling out its real-money gaming service in other states.
Betr is soft-releasing its Scripts product as part of the Massachusetts debut. The Betr app also has a reinvented user interface layer that presents betting markets as multiple-choice questions and displays odds in clear payout multiples.
Joey Levy, Founder and CEO of Betr, said: "We are thrilled to launch Betr Betting in Massachusetts, home of some of the world's greatest sports franchises and fans.
"We will be just the 7th operator to enter the state, only trailing FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, WynnBet and Barstool to market. We would like to thank the Massachusetts Gaming Commission for their partnership and we are excited to introduce Betr to the Commonwealth's sports ecosystem."
On 12 May 2023, Betr will host a launch party in Boston to mark the beginning of the company in Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts launch follows Betr's debut in Ohio in January 2023, when the first microbetting app broke records for the quickest launch from firm founding to a fully licensed and regulated real money betting product in American online sports betting history.
Furthermore, recently, the company also disclosed that it has purchased the Chameleon betting platform from FansUnite at a cost of about $7m.
