Rivalry has announced the release of its updated casino platform Casino.exe., which will combine 90s nostalgia with interactive elements. The platform will be available in Ontario and a variety of new third-party games will also be released.

In Canada, Ontario residents will now be able to play casino games via Rivalry’s mobile app which launched in May.

Rivalry has also added eight new games to Casino.exe, including a mix of game shows, table games and instant games to its offering.

Rivalry aims to cater to the Millennial and Gen Z market, hence the combination of modern-day interactive elements and 90s nostalgia within its enhancements to its casino suite.

Steven Salz, Co-Founder and CEO of Rivalry, commented: “Since launching Casino.exe last year we’ve diversified our revenue mix and materially increased betting handle. Our emphasis on tech and design innovation continues to serve as a catalyst for our products, allowing us to drive organic interest and activity in casino with limited marketing spend.

“Today’s announcement adds greater accessibility to our exclusive casino platform and builds on a unique offering with more games and variety.”

Rivalry launched its esports betting app in Ontario back in May with Millennial and Gen Z bettors representing 97% of Rivalry’s active users.

Last month, Rivalry expanded its range of esports betting options, introducing same-game parlays for esports matches.

Also last month, Rivalry released its Q2 report, reflecting an increase in betting handle up 192% but a net loss of CA$6.3m (US$4.6m).
