Internet Vikings, a sports betting and iGaming cloud hosting provider, has chosen Cloudflare to utilise its industry protection.
By using Cloudflare technology to support its cybersecurity solution, Internet Vikings will be able to withstand more complex Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.
The Cloudflare’s Magic Transit product will be used to protect the entire Internet Vikings IP subnets, by using BGP, FRE and IPsec for routing.
Rickard Vikström, Internet Vikings CEO, said: “We are always in search of new opportunities to deliver more comprehensive services to our clients.
“I am convinced that equipping our systems with Cloudflare is the best step for Internet Vikings to have taken towards improving cyber security within the industry.
“It will not only allow businesses to avoid financial and reputational damage, but guarantee the players a better and uninterrupted gaming experience.”
Through advances in technology, the Cloudflare’s Magic Transit service can block DDoS attacks in under three seconds, with additional mitigation techniques applied automatically.
Andy Lockhart, Cloudflare EMEA VP, said: “Protecting the sports betting and iGaming industry requires businesses like Internet Vikings to have a robust cybersecurity and performance solution.
“There are an increasing number of attacks across the industry, with Cloudflare blocking on average 124 billion cyber threats each day globally.”
The full suite of Intervet Vikings products includes cloud hosting, VMware hosting, SEO hosting and replication server creation.
As part of its US expansion, Internet Vikings announced that it would launch in Wyoming and Maine later in the year.
