ators Ladbrokes are in talks to acquire online betting exchange Betdaq.

Following media speculation about a potential deal, a Ladbrokes statement said: "Negotiations are ongoing though at this stage there is no certainty that an agreement will be reached.”

Press reports have suggested that a takeover worth around £30m is being discussed, with a conclusion believed to be a few weeks away.

Betdaq were founded in 2000 by Irish billionaire Dermot Desmond.
