Las Vegas' Plaza Hotel & Casino, nestled in the Downtown area, is gearing up for its annual New Year's Eve celebration scheduled for 31 December.
Last year, Plaza Hotel & Casino hosted a New Year's Eve event that included a fireworks show in conjunction with an aerial presentation by Fantasy Drone Shows.
The Plaza's Carousel Bar, a new addition to the property, will serve as the focal point of the evening's festivities, offering cocktails to patrons and providing a location to witness the fireworks. The adjacent Main Street, where the Plaza is situated, will be temporarily closed to vehicles during the display.
Hotel guests opting for the NYE 2023 Room Package will have exclusive access to a rooftop pool deck viewing party to observe the fireworks. This package, requiring a three-night stay, includes a $50 food and beverage credit.
Oscar's Steakhouse plans to offer a three-course meal alongside its regular menu. Diners will have a complimentary midnight champagne toast while viewing the fireworks from the restaurant's glass dome.
Beyond midnight, The Sand Dollar Downtown will continue the celebrations with live music from the rock band, Ian Crawford & Cosmic Miles, performing from 10pm to 2am, ensuring that the celebration extends into the early hours of the new year.
While the Plaza’s New Year’s Eve celebration is a local highlight, similar plans for the holiday have also been announced by casinos in Atlantic City.
This NYE show follows previous Plaza Hotel & Casino events, including the Las Vegas Days Rodeo hosted at its outdoor equestrian centre, the Core Arena. The Plaza sponsored the annual western-themed event, a tribute to Las Vegas's heritage through rodeo contests and historical exhibitions.
