Lottery.com appoints new CEO and COO

The leadership team appointments of Matthew McGahan and Gregory Potts are part of the lottery-based technology company’s growth plans.

Lottery.com has announced the appointment of two individuals to its leadership team as it targets future global growth. 

Matthew McGahan will now hold the position of CEO, President and Secretary. Having held the position of interim CEO since July 2023, McGahan will bring experience to the role including being Chairman of Sports.com and the Founder of Magic Automotive Group, plus being an establishing member of United Capital Investments Limited (UCIL) in 2015.  

In the position of COO will be Gregory Potts, who is coming to the role from his current position as a trustee of WinTogether.org, a Lottery.com subsidiary. Having formally been the company’s former Global VP of Affiliate Success and with 25 years of experience in strategic growth and marketing, Potts is coming into his new position with notable knowledge from both in and outside of Lottery.com. 

With these appointments, Lottery.com hopes to leverage McGahan and Potts' experience to propel the company’s growth.  

On his appointment, McGahan said: "I'm honored and excited for the trust placed in me to navigate Lottery.com's future and I would like to thank the Board for the trust they have placed in both me and Greg."

Furthermore, Potts commented: "Joining forces with Matthew, our Board and stakeholders to elevate the Lottery.com brand globally is an exhilarating opportunity. The potential for growth and innovation here is immense and I'm extremely optimistic about what we can achieve together."
