Supplier DigitalEjis has announced a partnership with Exalogic, a gambling platform provider in Italy. This collaboration aims to advance responsible gambling practices and addiction prevention within the Italian gaming market.
DigitalEjis has developed a predictive software solution that aims to identify potential gambling addiction before a player places their first bet.
Unlike current tools that detect addiction after compulsive behaviours manifest, DigitalEjis' software aims to allow operators to tailor the betting experience from the outset. This proactive approach seeks to offer a safer and more regulated environment for players.
Exalogic has selected DigitalEjis as its exclusive partner for predictive and anti-addiction products. This strategic alliance integrates responsible gaming practices into Exalogic’s platform.
Dr Ian McLoughlin, DigitalEjis Founder and CEO, said: “It’s great to see how wholeheartedly the Italian market has embraced DigitalEjis through this agreement with Italy’s number one platform provider and value-added services partner to the gambling industry.”
The partnership aligns with Italy’s recent decree on gambling, particularly Article 14, which emphasises the importance of responsible gaming and the use of AI-powered software to prevent gambling addiction. DigitalEjis’ predictive software aims to support this regulatory initiative by offering precise predictions and personalised protection for players.
This partnership follows several significant developments in the Italian gaming market. In March 2024, Betsson Group expanded its brand presence in Italy with the launch of Betsson.it, complementing its existing StarCasino brand. This expansion includes sports betting, slot, table games and live casino experiences, aiming to consolidate Betsson's operations in Italy.
In May 2024, Relax Gaming expanded its presence in Italy through a partnership with Octavian Lab, providing access to popular gaming titles like Money Train and Wild Chapo 2. This deal marks Relax Gaming's ongoing strategy to strengthen its market position in Italy.
The Italian gaming market has seen various regulatory updates aimed at promoting responsible gaming and ensuring fair play, including new industry-wide standards for safer gambling practices.
