Evoke, formerly known as 888 Holdings, has announced the expansion of its enhanced Poker 8 platform to WSOP.com players in Nevada and New Jersey.

This upgrade allows players in these states to experience the same gameplay that Michigan players have already been enjoying, while also integrating Michigan players into the WSOP.com interstate poker pool for the first time.

The upgraded platform incorporates a Player Account Management (PAM) system, integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality and a library of over 175 casino games from Evoke’s in-house studio, Section 8.

With the roll-out of Poker 8 across Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada, WSOP.com players will now have access to popular poker features such as progressive knockouts, mystery bounties and the ability to play multiple concurrent Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games and tournament tables on their mobile apps.

Jeffrey Haas, Chief Growth Officer at Evoke, commented: “With a relentless focus on customer experience, our poker proposition has continually evolved and pushed the boundaries for online poker players globally for more than two decades.

“The latest poker platform upgrade in America will deliver superior gameplay experiences for players in Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada. We look forward to working with our partners at the World Series of Poker to leverage this technology to substantially enrich their customers’ online poker experience."

Ty Stewart, Executive Director of the World Series of Poker, added: “It’s a monumental day to bring this new product to market in time for the 2024 World Series of Poker.

"While we will always strive to offer the biggest tournaments in the industry year-round, this is the time when players can enjoy exclusive satellites, promotions and online bracelet events.”

Just prior to the recent name change, Evoke reported £1.7bn ($2.17bn) in 2023 revenue, despite dips in profit across the year.
