A collective agreement has been reached between 1/ST Content, Tabcorp, Arena Racing Company (ARC) and Racecourse Media Group (RMG).
This collaboration will involve the four horse and greyhound racing companies coming together to create a network of rights holders, who will distribute content across a number of international markets.
Through this deal, there will be a variety of 24/7 racing video, data and wagering solutions together in one for operators on both a local and global level, while customers looking to place wagers will have easier access to additional content and services.
The four companies will look to provide a 24/7 schedule complementing any international racing or sporting programme across multiple time zones and deliver localised solutions for different and varied audiences.
It was only in October when 1/ST Content partnered with Tabcorp to provide fixed odds and tote betting services on its varying racetracks for North American horserace betting.
1/ST President Aidan Butler said: “1/ST Content is excited to announce this strategic alliance to deliver an all-encompassing one-stop-shop for 24/7 international racing that effortlessly fits into any timezone, country or region. We look forward to increasing distribution of North and South American and Turkish racing via our partners’ many channels.
“This agreement leverages a broad suite of products and services, and demonstrates how working together will allow us to bring our content to new customers.”
In related news, Tabcorp last week named former Australian Football League (AFL) Chief Executive Gillon McLachlan as its new CEO and Managing Director.
